About JC New York

JC NEW YORK was created by me, JC. Growing up in Los Angeles within south central in a family that consist of 4 younger sisters and a single mother. Always wanting to do more in life than just what was expected from me. A nine to five job where I would be working for someone else. After dropping out of my second year of college and working as a dish washer in the Beverly Hills Hotel I decided that this was not where I was meant to be. I decided to take a two-week vacation to visit New York as it has always been my dream.  It was a little frightening as I had never been outside of California.
Arriving to New York I was mesmerized the first week. Second week I decided to apply to about twenty plus jobs online. I was called to three of those jobs and decided to risk it all and stay and give it a try.
Working 3 jobs for about 6 months made me realize that I was going to make it here and started saving up money to eventually move into my own place in Brooklyn as I was renting a room at first. During my first 4 years I managed to move from bussing tables, to serving tables, then promotion to catering management, finally sales manager. After seven years of being in New York and working at a hotel as a sales manager Covid-19 (pandemic) hit and everyone decided to rethink their life situation as did I. I decided to take all my savings and risk it all one last time to invest in an online clothing company where I can express myself.
